Our Geriatric Behavioral Health Treatment
At MetroWest Medical Center’s Leonard Morse Hospital in Natick, your loved one will receive specialized geriatric services in our 2-bed Geriatric Treatment Unit (GTU). Here patients receive individualized care from an experienced team of doctors board-certified in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry, as well as psychiatry and neurology.
Our senior behavioral health program offers treatment for a range of neurological and medical conditions. Your loved one will also have access to nutritional assessments, cognitively stimulating activities, yoga therapy and pet therapy to help the treatment process. We also work to keep families and caregivers in the loop with educational meetings to learn about dealing with dementia and other neuropsychiatric conditions.
