Massachusetts Department of Public Health Gives Saint Vincent Hospital a Clean Bill of Health for Staffing and Quality of Care
Mar 12, 2024Saint Vincent Hospital proudly shares that a recent survey by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (DPH) found zero deficiencies in the areas of staffing and quality of care, confirming the hospital’s commitment to high-quality care. The DPH conducted a five-day, on-site survey in response to recent complaints filed by a third party. The surveyor examined the hospital’s operations in great detail and found five of the six alleged complaints to be completely unsubstantiated. The survey helped uncover an opportunity for improvement relating to the hospital’s telemetry monitoring equipment, which the hospital was already in process of addressing, and has now been fully corrected.
